The Colca Canyon

Located within the Colca Valley, the Canyon is one of the largest tourist destinations not only in Arequipa, but also in Peru. Its easy access – a bus or private car from the city to the Chivay district does not take more than 3 and a half hours.

Monastery of Santa Catalina

Santa Catalina, was located in Arequipa, a city founded in 1540 in a place specially chosen for its natural beauty, its welcoming climate and which had a unique construction material: ashlar, a porous volcanic lava stone that has made it possible to build a beautiful city, where been possible to build own architectural forms.
